Job Description

Step into the heart of the conversation with a casual contract working across Channel 9 and 9Now’s social media accounts. This is your chance to help drive the digital buzz for some of Australia’s most talked-about shows, fostering vibrant communities while connecting with a passionate national audience.

Day to day you will:

  • Bring Channel 9 and 9Now’s social presence to life with a consistent and engaging tone.
  • Dive into social communities to spark safe, inclusive, and active conversations.
  • Deliver high standards of community management across all digital platforms.
  • Partner with marketing teams to publish original and high-impact social content.
  • Maximise content reach to drive fans toward our digital and broadcast assets.
  • Track real-time audience trends to help the team deliver what fans love most.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • A genuine interest in social media and building positive digital communities.
  • Clear, professional writing skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social platforms and a fast learner of new digital tools.
  • Availability and enthusiasm to work evening and weekend shifts.
  • A proactive, organised approach to handling a fast-paced environment.
  • A love for Australian reality TV and current digital trends.
