Description
We’re looking for a full time PM Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our team at the Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row, a modern, lifestyle hotel located in one of DC’s most vibrant neighborhoods. This is an PM leadership role for a manager with a strong passion for bar programming and evening energy.
The PM Manager is a hands-on leader who actively bartends during peak periods, coaches the bar team, and brings the creative vision of the concept to life while upholding hotel brand standards. This is a build-phase role for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and takes pride in creating memorable nights, one drink and one guest at a time.
What You'll Do
As an PM Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will:
- Own the evening guest experience, with a focus on bar energy, service flow, and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests and the local community.
- Understand the rhythm of hotel evenings – arrivals, happy hour, pre-dinner, late-night wind-down – and adjust staffing, pacing, and music accordingly.
- Coach, train, and support a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts as needed.
- Oversee all opening or closing procedures during PM shifts.
- Engage with guests, resolve concerns, and create a warm, welcoming environment.
- Uphold service standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness across the restaurant.
- Help refine cocktails, service rituals, and evening programming as the concept evolves.
- Build a bar culture that attracts repeat neighborhood guests while delivering a polished hotel experience.
- Promote a positive culture rooted in Relationships, Integrity, Legacy, Hospitality, and Entrepreneurial Spirit, the core values of TBC Hotels.
