About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Manager (National Accounts) to join our team. This candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding our relationships with luxury retail and boutique customers. The role requires someone who enjoys providing exceptional account support, is able to multi-task, and is highly detail-oriented. The role is responsible for working directly with our customers to provide product and service information and resolve product and service inquiries. Occasional travel to trade shows may be required. What you can do for us:
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with assigned national and e-commerce accounts.
- Manage day-to-day account operations including order entry, pricing updates, and inventory coordination.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion and upselling; Collaborate closely with sales reps and sales directors to share feedback and ideas.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product range and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues related to orders and deliveries
- Support e-commerce partners with product setup, data accuracy, image assets, and content updates.
- Maintain and analyze account data using Excel (pricing sheets, sales reports, SKU lists, chargebacks, deductions, etc.)
- Track orders from placement through delivery; Proactively resolve issues related to shipping, damages, shortages, or delays
- Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customer concerns, identifying the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure full resolution.
- Track and manage customer sample requests to meet critical meeting dates.
- Act as a communication link between key buyers and internal teams.
- Manage multiple accounts and priorities via numerous platforms simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Process orders and manage data via EDI platforms.
- Proactively evaluate and confirm customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and shipped following customer guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue with key national and luxury retail accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in buying departments, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with global and national sales teams to identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business growth.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products, maintaining the highest quality standards expected by luxury retailers.

Requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
- Some college studies with a Business major or equivalent.
- Strong experience in managing account relationships via phone and email.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Positive attitude towards client interaction with problem solving focus.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Desire to listen, analyze data and resolve conflict.
- Experience working with ERP system (such as X3) a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in national account management or sales within the luxury retail sector
- Provides a proven track record of managing high-profile accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills which is essential for evaluating market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and securing favorable terms with key accounts.
- Ability to make established connections with buyers of major high-end retailers.
- Proven track record of driving sales and managing retail accounts.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
