Director of Operations Opportunity:

ProEdge is seeking a Director of Operations to scale our manufacturing and supply chain operations by architecting continuous improvement and systems thinking for predictable, repeatable, and efficient processes, all while furthering a team-first culture. This leader will own all core operations functions, including manufacturing, assembly, shipping, receiving, lab operations, inventory, and procurement.

This is a senior leadership role in a fast-growing organization. You’ll own building systems for scale for both independent and enterprise customer models, innovating processes both new and current products, and ensuring operational efficiency under rising cost-to-serve realities.

Success Looks Like:

1. Analyzing and improving manufacturing and shipping processes, clarifying accuracy of labor absorption, capacity, and costing by 6 months
2. Optimize processes throughout operations, adding to cumulative earnings/cost-avoidance over the next 3 years
3. Within 18 months, develop operations culture into continuous improvement, high-performance team, and drive top-tier manufacturing employee engagement scores (eNPS above 60).
4. Establishing capacity planning models, balancing labor, equipment, and materials to handle 40% demand spikes, enabling the company to scale mixed fulfillment models without disruptions.
5. Crafting a data-driven 3-year operations roadmap that improves operational costs by 10-15%, without compromising team health, customer quality, or regulatory compliance
6. Analyzing top 20 raw materials by spend, identifying price trends over 3 years, and renegotiating contracts while maintaining quality standards.
7. Integrate new or modified products into production processes with 98% FPY within 6 months of launches

A Note About In-Office Requirement:

This is an in-office leadership role with a core schedule of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. ProEdge genuinely cares about the health of all team members. All of us are real people with real lives – appointments, kids get sick, moments at home we wouldn't dare miss, or the every-so-often need for a deep focus day away from the pop-ins. We’re a team that supports each other, including when those realities pop up, and offer overflowing flexibility.

That said, being a senior leader at ProEdge means you’re one of the main keepers of our culture and alignment and that happens best when you’re here, shoulder to shoulder with your team, the bulk of the time. Remote leadership doesn’t deliver the same magic for us. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of an in-person leadership team and wants to help shape our culture in the every day. 

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range of $160,000 to $190,000 based on experience plus annual bonus based on performance/profitability

• Accrued Paid time off (PTO) earning up to 4 weeks annually
