Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Payroll Officer to join our growing team in Perth. This role is ideal for someone with payroll and HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting employees with accurate, on-time pay.

Key Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

  • Process end-to-end payroll runs accurately and on schedule

  • Maintain and update the time and attendance system

  • Process superannuation monthly and reconcile to finance figures

  • Reconcile and lodge payroll tax monthly, ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Reconcile and process payments to third-party providers

  • Respond to employee payroll enquiries and resolve issues efficiently

  • Maintain accurate and compliant payroll records

  • Complete termination calculations and process employee exits

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a payroll and/or human resources environment (preferred)

  • Strong administration experience in an HR or payroll setting

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
