Logistics coordinator

Prime Objective:    

The logistics coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily transportation of products. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and secure delivery to customer sites while maintaining strict compliance with chemical safety regulations , site requirements, RTA regulations and environmental standards. 

Logistics Planning & Scheduling

• Daily Routing:- Optimize delivery routes to minimize costs, fuel usage, and delivery times
• Capacity Management:- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and external hauliers to manage vehicle capacity
• Order Management :-  Process delivery orders, decide the route, scheduling and booking transport
• Documentation :-  Prepare necessary transport documentation, delivery note, batch certificates, and invoices. 

Compliance & Safety

• Compliance :-Ensure compliance with local RTA regulations regarding the transportation
• Safety:-Enforce safety standards for the trucks

Coordination, Communication and Performance

• Stakeholder Liaison:- Act as the key contact between customer, sales, production, warehouse, drivers, and external freight for.
• Incident Resolution:- Proactively manage logistical issues, such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or site access problems.
• Performance:- Analyse data to track on-time delivery and carrier performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• SAP / Excel
