As an <strong>Aftersales Technical Trainer, </strong>your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:&nbsp;</span></p><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Design and deliver Instructor-Led (classroom and workshop) and Web-Based Training programs, including eLearning content and training aids.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Prepare and maintain training equipment, tools, and learning resources.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Deliver face-to-face training sessions, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with current technologies.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Provide mentorship and technical support to students during and after training sessions.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealerships to understand training needs and ensure alignment with business goals.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Collaborate with technical support teams to ensure training materials are up to date, validated, and reflect real-world scenarios.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Maintain and report on student progress, attendance, and performance records.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Participate in public events and industry expos to promote BYD’s technical training programs.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Promote BYD’s training as a high-quality OEM-standard offering to both internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Support the Aftersales Senior Technical Trainer in identifying training needs across different skill levels and audiences.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Contribute to a performance-driven culture and support a training environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Stay current with industry developments and continuously enhance your own technical and instructional skills.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Perform other training-related duties as assigned by the line manager.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:left;"></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span><strong>Key requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and strategy-based diagnostics.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Understanding of modern automotive technologies such as EV systems, hybrid powertrains, and advanced safety features.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content development tools (e.g., Adobe Suite or similar.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Familiarity with instructional design and e-learning platforms.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Certificate IV in Training &amp; Assessment (TAE40122 or current equivalent).&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Automotive trade qualification.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Passion for the automotive industry and new technologies.&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p style="text-align:left;"><span>Ability to develop clear, engaging training materials (guides, presentations, assessments).&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:left;"></p></div><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span>To be successful in this role, the candidate must bring practical experience in automotive repair and diagnostics to effectively connect theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
