Position Summary:

The Stand-Up Deep Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving raw and finished goods throughout the warehouse. This role performs case picking, order processing, staging, and loading/unloading using a stand-up deep reach forklift. The operator ensures products are handled with care, inventory is accurately managed, and the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety procedures. This position works in refrigerated and freezer environments and requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

· Operate a stand-up deep reach forklift to safely move raw and finished goods throughout the warehouse.

· Pick, pull, and stage orders accurately according to production and customer requirements.

· Load and unload trailers while ensuring product integrity and minimizing damage.

· Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling, labeling, and placement of products.

· Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, equipment checks, and warehouse safety protocols.

· Keep work areas clean and organized, supporting overall warehouse housekeeping standards.

· Work in cold environments, including freezer areas at 0°F or below and production areas near 40°F.

· Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members to support smooth warehouse operations.

· Report equipment or product issues promptly to prevent downtime or quality concerns.

· Support overtime needs as required, including work before or after scheduled shifts and some Saturdays.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

· Demonstrated experience operating a stand-up deep reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.

· Ability to read and follow picking/staging orders and basic inventory documentation.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills to support safe and accurate warehouse operations.

· Proven attention to detail and problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments.

· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching (with or without reasonable accommodation).

· Comfort working in cold environments, including freezers at 0°F or below and production areas around 40°F.

· Willingness to work required shift schedule, including overtime before/after shifts and some Saturdays.

Competitive salary ($25.08/hour). Salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees.
