About the Role

Objective

This position is responsible for loading and harvesting the beast meat on DSI line, ensure the continues flow of product and the quality of finish product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to MPF Policy.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Lead operator and Production Supervisor. Internal Contacts: Plant Manager, Production Supervisors, R&D, Quality Assurance, and production employees, Support I & II and HACCP personnel.

Primary Job Duties

  • This position will be rotating on DSI line, and has to learn all jobs on the line.
  • Responsible for loading DSI infeed line to ensure the continues flow of product in a proper way.
  • Responsible for harvesting and grading the finish product from the outfeed belt in DSI line.
  • Ensure that good product going to the finish product combo. Ensure that no finish product going to the trim


Requirements

Skill Requirements

  • Able to stand still for 8+ hours.
  • Able to use right, left, and both hands as needed.
  • Able to keep up with the line speed 40 to 50+ f/m.

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. These positions work in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces. Temperatures in the mid 30-degree F. to mid-40-degree F. range. Damp wet floors and air flow from refrigeration units. Noise level is high.
