Be the friendly face that kicks off every great pool day! As a Front Desk Attendant at the Alfond Municipal Pool Complex, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests—welcoming patrons with a smile, answering questions, and helping families get checked in and ready for fun in the sun. POSITION SUMMARY: 

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, selling passes and processing payments at the Alfond Municipal Pool Complex under the direct supervision of the Front Desk Manager and Aquatics Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate Square, ensuring accuracy with cash in and cash out procedures. Sell seasonal and daily passes to the Alfond Municipal Pool Complex and keep accurate records of such. 
  • Check-in patrons at the front desk by scanning IDs and collecting payment. 
  • Operate concessions, monitor inventory, and communicate with supervisor when supplies are low.
  • Attend staff trainings and meetings. 
  • Communicate with supervisor if supplies (wrist bands, paper products, etc.) are needed.

WORK SCEHDULE: Seasonal position; Various hours including days, evenings, & weekends.


Requirements

 KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • No certifications or education requirements.
  • CPR/AED, First Aid is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with Square and/or Point of Sales software is preferred.
