Senior Consultant -JAVA Developer with Core Banking

Job Summary
As a Senior Consultant within Banking Consulting Europe, you will play a pivotal technical role in the development, implementation, or support of Oracle’s next-generation banking solutions. Operating independently with guidance as needed, you will collaborate with cross-functional and client teams to deliver solutions that meet the evolving business, regulatory, and technical needs of financial institutions.

Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–7 years’ experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications, with at least 2 years using Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and XML.
• Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking products.
• Skilled in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database management (Oracle 18c/12c), and application server deployment/support—preferably Oracle WebLogic.
• Proficiency in release management, source control, and issue tracking tools.
• Strong client interaction, communication, and documentation skills in English.
• Willingness to work offshore/on-site, within rotational shifts, and travel as project needs dictate.

Good-to-Have:

• Exposure to banking domain, banking technologies, and banking terminology.
• Familiarity with DevOps, testing tools, Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, Oracle Fusion SOA/Middleware.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices.
• Experience in high-pressure, fast-moving project environments.
• Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications (or willingness to obtain).
