Position Overview
Project Managers oversee the completion of reserve studies for our clients in California and Nevada. This role is critical in managing all aspects of the reserve study process, including conducting field inspections, ensuring proper documentation, and providing high-quality service to clients. Project Managers should work toward completing the education credits required for state permits related to reserve study practices.
Please note that while the successful candidate for this position will be located in the San Francisco area, during training they will be asked to travel to our office in Carmichael approximately every other week. Once training concluded, they would travel to the office in Carmichael approximately once per month.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Google Take-offs: Utilize Google tools for project take-offs, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and utilize a CRM system to track client interactions, project progress, and communication.
- Component Costing Research: Conduct thorough research to accurately determine the costs of various components and assets.
- Tabulation of Field Notes: Compile and organize field notes from inspections to support the reserve study process.
- Inspection Readiness Planning: Review maps, CC&Rs, landscape audit forms, and other relevant documents to ensure inspections are thoroughly planned and executed.
- Photography: Capture clear, high-quality photographs of components and assets during inspections, ensuring images are resized and properly formatted for use in the reserve study program.
- Client Interaction: Conduct onsite meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence with clients to ensure they are informed and satisfied with the project progress.
- Funding Plan Development: Develop funding plans for reserve studies based on data and client needs, ensuring recommended funding levels meet future maintenance and repair costs.
- Component Knowledge: Maintain a working understanding of various building components (e.g., roofing, pavement, HVAC) and their expected lifespans, maintenance, and replacement costs.

Qualifications
· High school diploma or higher
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
· Strong time-management skills

· Willingness to travel with occasional overnight trips required
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong experience in Google Workspace tools
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Sales, QA)
· Valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
Overnight and out of town travel possible with working days being spent outside. Extended hours possible. In office, standard office environment with frequent computer use.
