Our Home Fashions team is currently on the lookout for a Showroom Design Consultant to join our North Shore Locations. If you have a passion for interior design, and customer service skills to match, we may be right for each other!
As a Showroom Design Consultant your focus will be to guide clients through their selection of custom window treatments, wallcoverings, and paint colors for their home or business, and to cultivate, recognize, and drive sales for your store. Your creativity and passion for design matter more than a formal education or experience in design.
Requirements
- Provide fantastic customer service through out the entire design process
- Greet and engage customers, uncovering their color, wallcovering, or window treatment needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality
- Continually meet and exceed sales goals for the home fashions department and your store
- Be a part of the home fashions team, by cultivating appointments for the In-Home Services division and working collaboratively with its designers.
- Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and strong interpersonal skills
- Develop and maintain a customer base through networking and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale
- Must be technologically savvy to work with various computer systems including: Outlook, Excel, ticketing systems, point of sale systems, and business-to-business ordering websites.
- Must be responsive to email
- Must schedule appointments using a request form or scheduling software
- Availability to work one weekend day.
- Ability to perform light lifting.
