The Role
We’re looking for a Head of Content Strategy to own and execute Finmo’s content strategy as a revenue lever spanning across brand, demand generation, product storytelling, and lifecycle engagement.
This is a strategic + hands-on leadership role. You will define Finmo’s narrative, build scalable content engines, and ensure content directly contributes to pipeline creation, activation, and revenue growth.
You will work closely with Growth, Product, Sales, RevOps, and external partners to translate complex financial workflows into clear, high-converting narratives for founders, CFOs, and finance teams across startups, MSMEs, and mid-market companies.
What You’ll Own
1. Content Strategy & Narrative
● Define and own Finmo’s core narrative and messaging architecture by ICP, segment, and use case (startups, MSMEs, mid-market).
● Build a full-funnel content strategy aligned to: Awareness → Acquisition → Activation → Retention → Expansion
● Ensure consistent positioning across website, campaigns, product marketing, sales enablement, and thought leadership.
This role will also function as Finmo’s de-facto Product Marketing and Sales Enablement lead. You will be responsible for simplifying complex financial products into clear, outcome-led messaging that directly supports sales conversations, accelerates deal velocity, and improves activation post-signup.
2. Multi-Channel Content Execution (with Performance Accountability)
Own strategy and performance across:
● Website & SEO / AEO content (category pages, solution pages, comparison pages)
● Product marketing content (landing pages, feature explainers, in-product education)
● Demand generation campaigns (paid + organic content)
● Social (LinkedIn-led, founder & CFO narratives)
● Email & lifecycle journeys (activation, onboarding, expansion)
● Case studies & customer storytelling
● Gated assets: playbooks, CFO toolkits, templates, benchmarks
● Partner & co-marketing content
While agencies and internal teams support execution, you own quality, consistency,
experimentation, and outcomes.
3. Demand Generation & Lead Growth
● Drive self-served sign-ups and activations through high-intent content.
● Build scalable content engines that convert traffic into qualified sign-ups from
startups and MSMEs.
● Develop high-value assets (playbooks, CFO toolkits, templates) to improve signup
conversion.
● Partner with performance marketing to optimise conversion rates, CAC, and funnel efficiency
● Create activation-focused content that accelerates time-to-value and product adoption across cash visibility, forecasting, payments, and FX.
● Use data and product signals to identify drop-offs and optimise content for ongoing usage and multi-product adoption.
4. Thought Leadership & Category Creation (supported by a PR agency)
● Identify opportunities to position Finmo leadership as industry voices.
● Build a structured podcast outreach strategy for CEO/CFO appearances.
● Develop POV-led content around cash visibility, financial control, and modern CFO workflows.
● Spot emerging conversations where Finmo can lead the narrative.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
● 8 - 10+ years in content strategy, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, accounting, payments,
or financial software.
● Proven experience using content to drive pipeline, activation, and revenue, not
just awareness.
● Strong ability to simplify complex financial or technical products into compelling
narratives.
● Deep understanding of funnels, attribution, and growth metrics.
● Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams.
● Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
● Highly analytical, commercial, and outcome-driven.
