About the Role

Position Summary:
The Food & Beverage Lead is responsible for overseeing all morning kitchen operations to ensure a high-quality breakfast experience for our guests. This role leads the morning culinary team, maintains Hilton brand standards, ensures food safety compliance, and supports a positive, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and passionate about guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the AM kitchen team during breakfast service
     
  • Ensure all breakfast items are prepared, presented, and replenished according to Hilton Garden Inn standards
     
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control, and presentation
     
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
     
  • Complete opening kitchen duties and ensure smooth transitions between shifts
     
  • Train, coach, and support kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance
     
  • Manage daily prep lists, inventory levels, and ordering needs
     
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally when needed
     
  • Communicate effectively with Front Desk and F&B leadership to ensure seamless service
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or culinary supervisory experience preferred
     
  • Knowledge of breakfast food preparation and kitchen operations
     
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
     
  • Ability to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as required
     
  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
     
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
