Medical Assistant - Clinic


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our busy healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care and support clinical operations in a dynamic clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and committed to providing high-quality service to our patients.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready

- Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information

- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers

- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of clinical areas and equipment

- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program required.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, AAMA) or equivalent national credential (e.g., RMA) preferred; willingness to obtain and maintain certification according to credentialing body requirements.
  • Prior medical assistant experience in an orthopedic, sports medicine, or specialty clinic setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused service in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records systems.
