About the Role

Dental Treatment Coordinator


We are seeking a friendly and knowledgable Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic multi-specialty office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build trust and relationships with patients by providing a clear understanding of their suggested treatment and helping them understand their insurance benefits. You will sit chairside general dentists and specilists, review treatment recommendations, explain procedures and fees, verify insurance benefits, and coordinate financial arrangements so patients can move forward with care without confusion or hesitation. 


Key Responsibilities:

- Providing guidance to our patients with procedure knowledge, making it affordable, and scheduling said treatment

- Track and monitor outstanding treatment

- Attention to detail - Catching insurance clauses, limitations, disclaimers, etc.

- Send/receive pre-authorizations

- Following up with patients post-operative

- Providing admin help to the front desk team as needed

- Providing support to the clinical team as needed


Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Minimum 2 years experience with dental treatment planning

- Comfortable, confidant, and compassionate when speaking to patients

- Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures is a plus

- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and MS Office

- Maintain patient privacy to remain compliant with HIPAA
