About the Role

Description

 The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations at the plant level and partners with employees and leaders to create a safe, compliant, and engaging workplace. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training support, benefits administration, and safety collaboration.

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Manage hourly recruiting efforts, including job postings, interviews, and coordination with staffing agencies
     
  • Conduct plant tours for candidates, new hires, and visitors as needed
     
  • Prepare and send offer letters in coordination with plant leadership and HR
     
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including background checks, drug screens, I-9s, tax forms, and HRIS data entry
     
  • Support employee benefits administration and HR policy compliance
     
  • Participate as a key member of the plant safety team and support safety programs and compliance initiatives
     
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and culture-building activities
     
  • Maintain plant headcount levels in partnership with staffing agencies
     
  • Track and report turnover, retention, and other HR metrics
     

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role preferred
     
  • Manufacturing or plant environment experience a plus
     
  • Background in Recruiting
     
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
     
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
