Job Description

GT Sales Officer – Role Summary

The General Trade (GT) Sales Officer drives sales growth in the general trade channel by opening new accounts, managing existing outlets, and ensuring strong product availability and visibility. The role focuses on effective sales execution, relationship building, market intelligence, and close coordination with distributors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage GT accounts, including wholesalers and retail outlets

  • Generate orders through regular market visits and push core and new SKUs

  • Monitor inventory, shelf presence, pricing, and merchandising standards

  • Coordinate with distributors for replenishment, promotions, and deliveries

  • Track competitor activities and share market insights

  • Build strong customer relationships and communicate promotions

  • Prepare sales reports and provide customer and market feedback
