About the Role

Description

Job Title: Executive Functions/Learning Coach
Compensation: 50% of Net Collections (~$100/hr); paid bi-weekly

Employment Type: Part-Time, W2 Employee, Non-Exempt

Schedule/Hours: Around 5 hours per week to start; ideally 2 afternoon/evenings, or 1 afternoon and 1 weekend day

Location: In Person - Wilton, CT

Reports to: Head of Learning Services


Sasco River Center is a mission-driven, multidisciplinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families across developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Executive Functions/Learning Coach to empower middle school, high school, college age and adults to reach their educational and personal development goals. You will utilize evidence based executive functioning strategies to ensure that each individual has the tools and encouragement to succeed.



Executive Functions/Learning Coach Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 coaching to children, adolescents, and young adults to support development of executive functioning and self-regulation skills
  • Implement evidence-based executive functioning strategies to help clients strengthen organization, planning, time management, task initiation, and follow-through.
  • Collaborate with families and educators to support generalization of skills across home, school, and community environments.
  • Dedicate time to administrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress tracking, and communication with families.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development.
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in executive functioning interventions.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the clinical team.


Executive Functions/Learning Coach Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements

Executive Functions/Learning Coach Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Training or experience in executive functioning interventions, academic coaching, or skills-based instruction.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based strategies for supporting attention, organization, planning, time management, and self-regulation.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or young adults, including those with ADHD, learning differences, or Autism Spectrum Disorders.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with documentation and progress tracking.
