Exciting Opportunity for SC Psychiatric Physician Assistants & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners 



Ally Psychiatry is seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN providers to join our growing team in beautiful Charleston, SC. This opportunity, affectionately known as our “Weekend Warrior” role, is designed with flexibility in mind and can be tailored to fit your ideal schedule and lifestyle.


We are primarily looking for providers who enjoy weekend coverage, with shift options ranging from 8 to 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. For those interested in benefits, the role can be expanded into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities


• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.

• Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards.

Requirements

 


  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to.
  • Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP.
  • Must have CDS and DEA or have the ability and qualifications to obtain it.
  • Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting.
  • Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing.
  • Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
