Operations and Safety Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations and Safety Supervisor to lead daily branch operations and champion a culture of safety excellence. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys optimizing processes, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate receiving, shipping, and counter sales teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Promote and enforce safety procedures, fostering a strong safety-first culture
  • Monitor workflows and implement process improvements to increase productivity
  • Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Oversee inventory control and maintain accurate records
  • Partner with management to develop operational strategies and safety initiatives
  • Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations
  • Manage company fleet compliance, including DOT inspections, insurance, and registration
  • Provide operational support during peak business periods

Requirements

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in warehouse or branch operations management
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze operational data and implement effective solutions
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace
