Job Types: Part Time (approx. 20 hours per week - Monday through Thursday)

Pay: $16.00/hour

What You Will Do: Job Coaches work in the community or clients' places of employment to provide support and to obtain and maintain community employment. A Job Coach support can include:

  • Helping learn and master job tasks
  • Helping maintain emotional well-being
  • Assisting communication with supervisors and coworkers
  • Support clients in achieving personal goals

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Business, Human Services or related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalency preferred
  • Experience with people with disabilities and/or mental health is preferable
  • Valid Call C Driver’s License
  • Proof of Automobile Insurance
  • Valid telephone number
  • Valid address
  • Internet, Email access, smartphone access
  • Microsoft Teams access (Teams will need to be downloaded onto your phone or computer)
  • High level of both written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass both motor vehicle and criminal background checks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tolerate emotions, such as frustration
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of systematic instruction in coaching people with disabilities in the workplace
  • Possess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo’s Motor Vehicle Guideline
