POSITION SUMMARY: Performs daily accounting and financial functions, which include entering data into the computer, recording, calculating, and summarizing numbers; reviewing documents for proper completion. Responsibilities may include Food and Beverage audit, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, Casino accounting, Receiving, or General Ledger support. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all PlayLV's Company standards, policies, and procedures.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Process and Reconcile Transactions – Verify and reconcile financial records, invoices, and vendor accounts to maintain accurate balances.
  • Manage Payments and Expenses – Process vendor payments, analyze expenses, and ensure proper documentation for transactions.
  • Maintain Financial Records – Update ledgers, input data into spreadsheets, and ensure accuracy in reports and inventory records.
  • Ensure Compliance and Confidentiality – Calculate and report sales tax, review financial documents for accuracy, and protect sensitive information.
  • Provide Administrative and Customer Support – Handle paperwork, assist with record-keeping, and support both internal and external customers efficiently.
  • Inventory and Receiving – Receive purchases, update requisitions, review documents and invoices for accuracy, and schedule/complete inventories for the warehouse.

Requirements


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


Required:

  • Education & Experience – High school diploma or equivalent required; experience with Infinium, Stratton Warren, and bookkeeping preferred.
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in MS Office, data entry, spreadsheets, and accounting software; ability to operate office equipment.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Strong written and verbal communication; excellent customer service and ability to work well with others.
  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy – Strong clerical skills, ability to manage financial records, and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Work Ethic & Professionalism – Motivated, adaptable, professional in appearance and demeanor, and meets attendance guidelines.


Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a similar setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have the physical ability to access all areas of the facility; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing at least 50 lbs. without restriction.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure; work indoors and outdoors, as well as being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.
  • Most work tasks are performed indoors; however, there are events where outdoor activities are required. Indoor temperatures are moderate and controlled by internal environmental systems.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and noisy environment.
