Job Description/Essential Duties:
The Assembler Display plays a vital role in ensuring California Faucets delivers high quality plumbing products to its customers. This role directly impacts both the quality and quantity of products delivered to customers by assembling, testing, and packaging plumbing fixtures with precision. In addition to fulfilling customer orders, the assembler display plays a key role in creating product display boards for showroom and marketing initiatives ensuring our products are presented with visual excellence and brand consistency. When performing these jobs, the following activities are required:
- Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures, applying adhesives and lubricants as needed
- Inspect components during assembly to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow Pick Tickets to locate parts and verify packaging requirements
- Report quality issues and part shortages to team leader
- Operate manual, electric, and air-powered hand tools safely and efficiently
- Monitor expiration dates of adhesives and lubricants
- Maintain organized records of rework and repair orders; coordinate with Finishing team
- Assemble showroom and marketing display boards with precise drilling and mounting
- Use drill press and precision tools to ensure accurate layout and alignment
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

- Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.

- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Environmental and Safety Considerations:
- Possible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise when working indoors.
- May be required to work with adhesives, power tools, forced air.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
People Interface:
The position requires contact primarily within the department on routine matters. Contact outside the Production Department is minimal.
Decision Making:
The position requires working from detailed instructions as well as the use of judgment to plan and perform general decisions to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.
Supervision Received:
Under general supervision, assignments are both task-oriented and objective-oriented. Follows established procedures for routine work; receives specific instruction on non-routine problems.
Accountabilities:
After adequate training, the position requires a level of accountability to complete a pre- determined amount of work or units completed per shift.
Education and Experience:
The minimum educational requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Someone entering this position should have at least six (6) months experience performing similar work in a related field.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and use hands to finger. The employee is frequently required to stand extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms below and above shoulder; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist or crawl. The employee may be required to lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary. The employee must be able to visually identify small finish imperfections.
