About the Role

Description

Summary:

Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming 

with special events.  Special Events are meaningful experiences for clients and guests and the Facilities Cleaning Specialist creates the foundation of those events. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Cleaning Specialist will maintain a pristine and beautiful space for each and every event incorporating Jorgensen Farms’ standards of quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of all overnight rental properties, all indoor and outdoor venue areas, and Grey House office
  • Manage laundry, dishes, spot steam cleaning, and restocking of supplies in rental houses
  • Assist Operations Team Members to ensure all spaces are clean and maintained based on final look on the venues for details as related to client experience, this includes patios, porches, baseboards, high dusting, vacuuming, shampooing, scuffs and stains walls, windows, and restocking
  • Oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and all client-facing areas of venues
  • Collect and remove trash and recycling throughout the property
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the back of house spaces
  • When necessary, perform weekly cleaning of septic and grease filters to ensure proper system function.
  • Pour diluted bleach down drains weekly to maintain cleanliness and prevent buildup
  • Clear gutters regularly to prevent blockages and water damage
  • Remove debris from HVAC condensers to optimize performance and efficiency
  • When necessary, set up Jorgensen-owned equipment and linens for indoor and outdoor areas used for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and special events
  • Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests

Requirements


  • Guest-centric and team-focused mentality
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
  • 1+ years experience in a janitorial or cleaning position is strongly preferred
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays and comfortable working in any kind of weather
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
