Impact Property Solutions is seeking a driven and resourceful Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This position will focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for hourly roles, mid-level salaried positions, and sales professionals across the flooring and construction sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruiting strategies, workforce dynamics in skilled trades, and a passion for building high-performing teams. 


Recruiter Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly warehouse and administrative positions, mid-level salaried professionals, and sales representatives.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate candidate selection.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, feedback loops, and offer processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely candidate and process documentation within our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify and attract candidates.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies and employment laws.
  • Support onboarding and pre-employment processes. 
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Recruiter Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple processes in different stages of completion
  • Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, including MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability.

Requirements

 Education and Work Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ recruiting experience, ideally in flooring, construction, or sales environments
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc…)
  • Prior Experience with Paylocity is a plus
  • Recruiting experience in multiple states in the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
