The school was judged <em>Good</em> by Ofsted in October 2022, with pupils described as happy, well behaved and responsive to leaders’ high expectations. Outcomes are strong and improving, including 78% achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined in 2025, and national recognition for outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.</span></p><p><span>This is a highly rewarding leadership role. It offers the opportunity to build on a strong foundation, lead further school improvement and contribute to wider trust and system leadership work through WPAT’s networks and professional development hubs.</span></p><p><span>Reporting to the Local Governance Committee and the Chief Executive Officer, the Headteacher will provide clear vision and professional leadership for the school. They will create the conditions in which pupils and staff thrive, while contributing to the wider mission and guiding principle of WPAT.</span></p><p><span><strong>As Headteacher, you will:</strong></span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Provide strategic leadership for the continued development of a successful primary school</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lead a rich, ambitious and inclusive curriculum that secures excellent outcomes for all pupils</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Create a culture of high expectations, positive behaviour and strong pupil wellbeing</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Develop, motivate and hold staff to account through effective performance management</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ensure safeguarding is robust, visible and embedded across the school</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work collaboratively with the Trust, governors, staff, pupils and parents</span></p><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contribute to trust-wide improvement, networks and leadership development</span></p><p><span>We are seeking an experienced senior leader with a strong track record of school improvement. You will be an inspiring communicator, committed to evidence-informed practice, inclusion and equality. You will bring resilience, clarity and a deep moral purpose to the role.</span></p><p><span>WPAT is a growing multi-academy trust established in 2016.
