We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgery Technician to join our state-of-the-art facilities. As a valued member of our surgical team, you will work alongside experienced veterinarians, contributing to high-quality patient care for surgical and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures, including the preparation of surgical areas and equipment.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgery and recovery.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and ensure the sterility of the operating environment.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and gather patient histories.
  • Provide postoperative care, including the administration of medications and monitoring recovery.
  • Educate clients on surgical care and recovery protocols.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all surgical procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred
  • Experience in a veterinary surgical setting is highly desirable
  • Proficient in anesthesia monitoring, surgical procedures, and sterile techniques
