  • Hourly Pay: $35-$38 (DOE)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements

 The Big Tasks:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, loaders, trenchers, and related machinery for water and sewer repair projects
  • Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and grading in accordance with project specifications
  • Assist with installation, repair, and replacement of water mains, sewer lines, valves, hydrants, and related infrastructure
  • Locate and protect existing underground utilities prior to and during excavation
  • Follow all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Work closely with crew members, supervisors, and inspectors to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed when required
  • Respond to emergency water and sewer repairs, including after-hours or on-call work as needed
  • Training to be provided for pipelining to install Perma liner pipe lining materials.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Hoisting License is required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in water and sewer utility work.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater systems, materials, and repair methods
  • Strong understanding of job site safety practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physical labor
