Your mission

As a Senior Backend Developer at Komodor, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our product across all teams. Whether it’s optimizing cost insights, building advanced troubleshooting capabilities, or developing Kubernetes-native agents and operators, you’ll work end-to-end on critical features — from design to production — in a fast-paced, CI/CD environment.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Komodor product
• Work across the stack to deliver new features from start-to-end
• Deploy new features to production and ensure they run smoothly at scale
• Improve performance and overcome scalability limits in high-volume environments
• Collaborate with your team to plan and prioritize the most impactful projects
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Golang (and occasionally other languages)
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing and code reviews
• Stay ahead of emerging software engineering trends and bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Golang experience - Major Plus!
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS, and distributed systems - Must
• Solid experience with Postgres
• Commitment to code quality
• Python, NodeJS, or React, Clickhouse - are nice to have
• Startup mentality: hands-on, collaborative, and adaptable
• A “can-do” approach, with a passion for building impactful, scalable products
