As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>Duties<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.</li> <li>Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.</li> <li>Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare providers.</li> <li>Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.</li> <li>Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting cognitive engagement.</li> <li>Administer CPR if necessary and assist with catheter care as required by the client’s health plan.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Requirements<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.</li> <li>Strong observational skills to effectively monitor patient conditions.</li> <li>Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.</li> <li>Knowledge of hospice care principles is a plus.</li> <li>Certification in CPR is highly desirable.</li> <li>Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.</li> <li>Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans.</li> </ul><div> <strong>Medical Specialty<br></strong><br> </div><ul><li>Home Health</li></ul> </div>
