Job Description
This position is part of a special internship cooperation program between Lostar Information Security and Istanbul Technical University (ITU) SGMYO.
Selected interns will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity under the guidance of experienced security professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting cybersecurity consulting and technical teams in daily activities
Assisting with security assessments, documentation, and reporting tasks
Participating in internal training sessions and technical workshops
Conducting research on cybersecurity technologies, tools, and methodologies
Gaining exposure to real-world security projects and client environments
This internship is designed to provide students with practical insight into professional cybersecurity operations and to help them build a strong foundation for their future careers.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a student at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) – SGMYO
Eligible for internship requirements defined by the university
Basic knowledge or strong interest in cybersecurity, information security, or IT systems
Willingness to learn, research, and develop technical skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Basic proficiency in English (reading technical documentation)

Additional Information
This internship is offered within the scope of a formal cooperation program with ITU SGMYO
Work model is hybrid, with approximately 80% remote work
Occasional in-office presence may be required in Istanbul
Internship duration and schedule will be aligned with university requirements
