About the Role

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Sales Executive within our labortatory based in Breda. 

 

Our Sales Executives are laboratory-based professionals responsible for expanding Element’s customer base and increasing share of wallet within their assigned accounts. This is a dedicated sales position with a strong emphasis on in-person customer engagement, account growth, and revenue generation.

 

You will oversee a defined portfolio of customers and prospects, frequently travelling for face-to-face meetings, including occasional overnight stays.

 

They also contribute to Strategic and Key Account initiatives, helping to shape long-term customer relationships and influence commercial outcomes. Success in this role depends on strong relationship-building skills, commercial insight, and the ability to identify and convert new opportunities, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across our commercial, operations, and finance teams.

 

Candidate must be fluent in Dutch language

Responsibilities

  • Own, manage and grow a portfolio of accounts
  • Proactively prospecting via phone and email
  • Connect with potential customers, re-engage dormant & declining accounts
  • Disciplined pipeline management
  • Close deals confidently and at pace
  • Join weekly S&OP meetings
  • Represent Element at industry and open house events
  • Confidently connect with key decision makers
  • Present and close tailored solutions
  • Build, maintain and deliver account plans for most valuable assigned customers
  • Support commercial plans as needed
  • Participate in commercial reviews

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Typically, around 5 years’ business development, B2B sales, or account management experience
  • Strong oral communication skills, with confidence in leading customer conversations and presenting solutions
  • Confident written communication
  • Practical CRM experience
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Commercially driven
  • Comfortable & confident working independently
  • Strategic thinking
  • Self motivated
