About the Role

Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are growing our Industrial Digital capability within Beca’s Industrial business to help clients make better, faster decisions across their operations. You’ll join a team delivering logistics and supply chain consulting, and modelling and simulation for manufacturing and logistics. This senior role will lead day to day project delivery, deepen our leadership capacity, and ensure continuity across a growing portfolio.

You’ll collaborate with clients, contractors and internal specialists to deliver work across New Zealand and Australia, with opportunities across water (including decarbonisation and asset optimisation), minerals & metals, food & beverage, dairy, wood & fibre, energy and manufacturing. While each project is different, typical responsibilities include:

  • Delivering end to end optimisation, modelling and simulation engagements, from scoping and data discovery to solution design, implementation and benefits realisation.

  • Translating client challenges into clear, value focused work briefs and pragmatic engineering solutions.

  • Partnering with long term clients to improve operational performance and resilience across supply chain, production and asset operations.

  • Leading and mentoring junior and intermediate engineers to lift consistency, quality and utilisation.

  • Contributing to service development and thought leadership in optimisation and digital engineering.

  • Supporting business development and client relationship management alongside the practice lead.

You will have the opportunity to both learn from our leading Principals, engineering science specialists, delivery leads and project engineering specialists, as well as having scope to have your say and contribute. Working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts to support delivery of significant and complex projects across many different market segments.

This role is based in our Auckland office, working within Beca’s Industrial Digital team and the wider Industrial business. You’ll be part of a close knit, trans-Tasman team that showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity. Some travel to client sites will be required to support project delivery and engage with operations teams.
