Midwest Autism Therapy is looking for a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team! We are a passionate ABA company dedicated to transforming lives through evidence-based practices. Some Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide center-based direct care to clients as outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Ability to work with families and children with diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures and economic status.
  • Collect data during client sessions as outlined in the treatment plan and complete daily notes for each session by the end of the day.
  • Communicate with caregivers and other supports at pick up and drop off.
  • Remain in constant communication with the leadership team, including BCBA, Lead RBT, and Program Manager.
  • Performs other special projects and additional duties as assigned

Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Reliable transportation

Other Requirements: Outgoing with high energy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective time management skills are a must.Physical Requirements:

  • Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time. Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes. Full range of motion of hands and arms. Sitting on the floor and chair for long periods of time. Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Move quickly from sitting to standing
  • Pass clinical background check
  • CPR/First aid within first 3 months of employment
  • Certification: Registered Behavioral Technician certification (RBT) - preferred
  • Reliable transportation
