About the Role

Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and collaborative Administrative Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the administrative department and plays a vital role in supporting the overall effectiveness of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, with strong technical problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


This is a full-time position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and execute all human resource functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, EEO regulations, and applicable employment laws.
  • Maintain and administer the human resource information system (HRIS).
  • Lead Recruitment, onboarding, and training for new employees.
  • Process employee terminations, benefits programs, and COBRA.
  • Oversee and perform full accounting cycle: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, audit, financial reporting, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with IT contractor to maintain secure and reliable technology.
  • Maintain company phone network.
  • Oversee and complete multiple payrolls; ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage the operations of the Administrative Services department in support of organizational programs.
  • Implement and improve office procedures and for maximum efficiency.
  • Organizationally plan and coordinate policies and procedures within the department as related to other departments.
  • Participate in corporate planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

  • This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $6498.27 per month.
  • Full salary range for this position is $6498.27 - $7082.40 per month.
  • Medical/vision, dental, and life insurance coverage at a low premium cost to employees. Dependent coverage available at employee cost.
  • 403(b) retirement plan, with up to a 6% company match dependent on contributions. (Match available after one year of employment).
  • Business mileage reimbursement is currently .60/mile.
  • Ten Paid Holiday per year
  • Vacation accrual begins at .027 per paid hour.
  • Sick Leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR administration, employee relations, benefits administration, and accounting experience including payroll processing, GL, AP, AR required.
  • Prior staff management or supervisory experience.
  •  Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate tactfully and maintain strict confidentiality when interacting with the public, staff, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of office best practices and administrative procedures.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including maintaining a professional appearance and a courteous, respectful attitude toward the public and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong ability to use QuickBooks.
  •  Human Resources certification is a plus.
