About the Role

Description

 

We are seeking a versatile Bartender / Server to join our full-service restaurant and bar. This role requires providing excellent guest service at both the bar and dining tables, preparing and serving beverages, taking food orders, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
     
  • Take food and beverage orders at tables and bar seating
     
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards
     
  • Deliver food accurately and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal
     
  • Verify guest age and comply with Florida alcohol service laws
     
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar, tables, and service areas
     
  • Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system
     
  • Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
     
  • Monitor alcohol consumption and act responsibly when needed
     
  • Assist with restocking, bar prep, and side work
     
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
     

Qualifications

  • Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
     
  • Knowledge of food, cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
     
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills
     
  • Excellent communication and guest service abilities
     
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
     
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
     
  • Must be at least 18 years old (21+ to serve alcohol)
     
  • Florida alcohol service certification required or willingness to obtain
     

Schedule & Environment

  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
     
  • Fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and bar environment
     

Compensation

  • Hourly pay plus tips (based on experience)
     

Requirements

 

  • Previous experience as a server and/or bartender preferred
     
  • Ability to provide both bar service and table service as needed
     
  • Knowledge of food menus, cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
     
  • Strong guest service skills with a positive, professional attitude
     
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
     
  • Comfortable handling cash, credit cards, and POS systems
     
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
     
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
     
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
     
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
     
  • Must be at least 18 years old (21+ required to serve alcohol)
     
  • Must comply with Florida alcohol service laws and company policies
