Job Description
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all kitchen and laundry equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, steamers, grills, fryers, washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, and presses
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize operational downtime
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports
- Coordinate with kitchen and laundry teams to plan maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Monitor spare parts usage and report requirements to the Engineering team
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensure proper use of tools and adherence to safety procedures
Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment
- Knowledge of hotel safety standards and preventive maintenance systems
- Experience with multinational brand standards is an advantage
