About the Role:

The Material Handler will assist loading and unloading the laser, as well as moving materials to and from the Fab Shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating a forklift safely to transport materials, product within the facility. (from / to fab shop, paint department, production lines and warehouse.)
Loading / unloading materials from laser
Material handling - handle materials with care to prevent damage to items being transported and to any surrounding property (machinery, racks, support beams, etc.)
Inventory management - keep accurate records of inventory movement (receipts/transfers) within each department
Equipment maintenance - perform daily equipment checks, reporting any mechanical issues or problems to your supervisor
Safety compliance - adhere to all safety regulations and guideline to prevent accidents, damage to property, and injuries to yourself or others
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and good communication skills.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
