Job Summary

As a Dishwasher at LOFTY, you play a crucial behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and flow of our café kitchen. Your work directly supports the culinary and front-of-house teams by ensuring all tools, dishes, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use. You are essential to keeping our kitchen efficient, our team supported, and our guests safe and satisfied.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who values cleanliness, teamwork, and consistency. In this role, you’ll uphold our café’s standards while gaining valuable kitchen experience in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dishwashing and cleaning duties for all kitchen and café equipment, utensils, cookware, and tableware
• Clean and maintain all kitchen areas, including sinks, floors, storage, and trash disposal areas, following company sanitation standards
• Assist with the organization and proper storage of kitchen tools and equipment
• Perform all opening and closing cleaning procedures accurately and efficiently
• Safely operate dishwashing machinery and other kitchen equipment in accordance with training and guidelines
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout your shift to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support the kitchen team as needed with basic prep tasks and restocking during peak periods
• Consistently practice food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and healthy work environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with team members and supervisors
• Punctual and reliable, with a commitment to following the time and attendance policy
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
• Able to take responsibility and hold yourself and teammates accountable for high standards of cleanliness and teamwork
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and regularly lifting or moving items up to 100 lbs
• Must adhere to Lofty Co. dress code and maintain a professional appearance
