We are seeking a highly motivated Part Time - Commis Chef to join our welcoming team providing the highest quality food for our guests at our Adelaide Domestic Lounges.

Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Commis Chef to join our team immediately and provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all of our lounge guests. We have an opportunity available in our al la carte and buffet environments.

All of our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for customer service.

  • Trade qualification in Cookery and experience in a similar role
  • Detail-focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods and techniques
  • Time management skills with the ability to multitask  
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
  • Flexible availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, weekends and public holidays

Qualifications

Experience with culinary education, knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. The ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

MUST have full working rights within Australia Ability to pass a federal police background security check
