As our Senior P&C Advisor for GB, you will play a crucial role in complimenting our employee performance goals, and driving key local initiatives. Alongside your fellow P&C team, you'll be a trusted advisor, collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to coach our managers to support their people through innovative solutions that support our business objectives.

 

Your expertise in policy interpretation, employee relations, industrial relations, performance management, legislative requirements, and HR best practices will be instrumental in creating a thriving and engaged workforce.

 


How you'll make an impact

 

Here's a glimpse of what your role will entail:

 

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute strategic P&C objectives aligned with our GB goals and to support our South Australian teams to achieve ongoing success
  • Provide expert guidance on complex people and culture matters, supporting managers with workforce planning, organisational design, and talent management initiatives
  • Execute P&C processes and programs, ensuring they align with business needs and support employee engagement and performance
  • Implement and enhance P&C processes and frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Utilize P&C metrics and analytics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organisational change initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Coach and mentor other P&C team members, supporting their growth and development in P&C practices
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in people and culture management, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to P&C initiatives

About you

 

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A solid background in HR with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in providing strategic ER advice to senior leaders and driving ER initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant HR qualifications or certifications (e.g., Bachelor's degree in HR or related field) desirable
