Technical Designer

<p><strong>About this role:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our Singapore office.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Your role as a Technical Designer is a do-er by nature who connects creativity with practicality. Your role is to make sure that our creative vision can be realized.<strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assist Project Designers in bringing the concept design through schematic design, by reviewing and incorporating Architectural, Structural and Services information into the design.</p></li><li><p>Research and propose technical solutions to design problems as and when they arise.</p></li><li><p>Advise Project Designers in design clarification, detailing and material selection.</p></li><li><p>Attend and record meetings within the company and with the wider design team.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and monitor documentation production programs to keep the project on track. You are responsible for maintaining office drafting and documentation standards at all stages of the project.</p></li><li><p>Produce detailed design and documentation of the project, in line with the vision of the Project Lead.</p></li><li><p>Work with internal CAD team and guide them to deliver comprehensive documentation packages.</p></li><li><p>Manage and conduct shop drawing reviews.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We promise you a career in the world of luxury design as you would be working in the hospitality design firm that is ranked No.1 in the world. That is why we are also looking to recruit the most talented in the industry to join us!</p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Right to work in Singapore (we DO NOT sponsor work visa.)</strong></p></li><li><p>2-4 years of experience as Technical Designer of similar role</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in interior architecture or architectural drafting role</p></li><li><p>Experience in hospitality projects, having seen at least two through all stages to completion</p></li><li><p>Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>To be successful in the role you should also have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong technical design skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to meet tight project deadlines</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously</p></li><li><p>Collaborative and enjoy working in team environments</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Does this sound like you?
