Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Resident Engineer- Civil to join our team in Kharagpur, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects, ensuring quality control, and managing on-site operations.
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project progress
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and technical submittals
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Coordinate with the project management team to facilitate efficient decision-making and problem-solving
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Total 10+ years of experience with minimum 4 projects in capacity of Expert/ RE/ TL on Railway projects.
