Tired of chasing jobs, quotes, and late payments?
If you’ve been painting cars, houses, decks, fences, or doing your own side work — and you’re ready for a steady paycheck, consistent hours, and a shop you can be proud of — we want to talk. We’re hiring a Manual Spray Painter to apply high-quality finishes to metal products using a spray gun in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Spray Painter, you’ll be responsible for applying paint finishes to metal parts and assemblies. This role is hands-on and perfect for someone who already knows how to lay down a clean coat and take pride in their work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Using a spray gun to apply paint to metal products
- Prepping parts: cleaning, masking, sanding, wiping, hanging/racking
- Mixing paint and following coating instructions
- Maintaining consistent finish quality (coverage, thickness, appearance)
- Inspecting parts for defects like runs, orange peel, dry spray, or fisheyes
- Keeping a clean paint area and properly maintaining spray equipment
- Following safety rules (PPE, ventilation, chemical handling)
Who This Job Is Great For
This role is ideal for someone with experience like:
- Auto body painter / collision repair painter
- House painter / deck painter
- Cabinet or furniture finisher
- Industrial painter
- Anyone who’s been working independently and wants something stable
If you’ve been doing jobs on your own, you already know what quality looks like. We’re looking for that same pride — just in a consistent shop setting.
Requirements
- Experience using a spray gun (professional or serious hands-on)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in clean work
- Ability to prep surfaces properly (this matters just as much as spraying)
- Dependable and consistent — we’d rather have steady and careful than rushed
- Comfortable standing, lifting, and working with metal parts in a shop environment
Bonus if you have experience with:
- HVLP spraying
- Auto body paint prep
- Industrial coatings
- Powder coat line familiarity (not required)
What You’ll Get
This is the part most “self-employed” painters are looking for:
- Steady paycheck
- Consistent hours
- Year-round work
- No chasing customers
- No quoting jobs
- No unpaid invoices
- A team environment where your work is respected
(If you want, I can add benefits, schedule, pay range, and location once you tell me what you offer.)
Why This Job Is Different
We’re not looking for someone who just “sprays paint.” We’re looking for someone who takes pride in the finished product — someone who wants stability, consistency, and a long-term place to work. If you’re ready to stop hustling for every dollar and want a solid job where your skills matter, apply today.
