Job Summary:
A Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for finding and hiring qualified healthcare professionals such as Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and Radiology Technologists, and other medical staff to meet the staffing needs of healthcare organizations. They work closely with hiring managers to ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly and efficiently, from sourcing candidates to managing the onboarding process. This role demands strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills to attract and retain top talent in a competitive industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare roles and credentialing requirements, a proactive approach to talent acquisition, and the ability to build strong pipelines of clinical professionals in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source candidates through online platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), networking, employee referrals, and other recruitment strategies.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals for current and future job openings.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and follow up on feedback.
- Write compelling job descriptions and post them on job boards, social media, and the company website.
- Market healthcare opportunities through various channels to attract high-quality candidates.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR teams to understand staffing needs and candidate profiles.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment progress to hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment-related activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Facilitate the onboarding process, including background checks, credentialing, and other compliance-related tasks as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Travel to other CLS Health locations as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare recruitment.
- Proven success recruiting for clinical roles such as Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Allied Health Technologists.
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing needs and challenges in both clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Experience working with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- A strong network within the healthcare industry, including connections with healthcare professionals and organizations, is advantageous.
- Understanding of healthcare roles, certifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., nursing licenses, physician certifications).
- Familiarity with the healthcare environment, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare settings.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for job postings, emails, and interviews.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Ability to screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and evaluate candidates effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple open positions, candidates, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet hiring goals within tight timelines.
- Ensuring accuracy in documentation, compliance, and credentialing of candidates.
- Ability to troubleshoot hiring challenges and adjust strategies as needed to attract top talent in a competitive market.
