About the Role

Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager leads and develops a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role provides hands-on coaching, accountability, and leadership while modeling the company’s mission, values, and standards. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales representatives through training, feedback, and performance management.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, ride-alongs, and 1:1 performance check-ins.
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable.
  • Partner with HR on performance reviews and development plans.
  • Creates/provides opportunities for employees’ growth and development.

SALES GOALS

  • Meets and exceeds sales goals and other key performance indicators for the company and individual sales representatives.
  • Targets performance management and training to achieve sales goals and other key performance indicators.  

CUSTOMER ISSUES

  • When customer issues are escalated to their level, works to resolve all customer issues
  • Ensures customers have a remarkable experience.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service principles; construction industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and computer skills, including use of standard business software.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating a proven track record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Valid non-probationary driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to drive for company business.
