About the Role

Description

The George, a newly renovated community in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Concierge to join our property management team. This position supports overnight building operations and plays a critical role in maintaining safety, security, and professionalism during evening hours. 


Work Schedule: 

  • Wednesday – Thursday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Thursday – Friday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Friday – Saturday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:


In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greet residents and guests with a warm, professional attitude
  • Conduct regular building and garage walk-throughs to ensure safety and security
  • Monitor building access and promptly report issues or emergencies
  • Assist residents with package pick-up and maintain an organized package area
  • Respond to resident inquiries and requests quickly and courteously
  • Document maintenance issues, deliveries, and incidents for management

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (hospitality or customer service experience preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in concierge, front desk, or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to excellent service
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (email, Word, Excel)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct building rounds during shifts
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
