About The Role


Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours per week), Monday – Friday between 9am – 1pm 



The Office Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. This part-time, entry-level role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and looking to gain experience in an office or administrative environment while working a reduced schedule. 


  • Greet and assist visitors; maintain a professional front-office environment 
  • Answer, screen, and route phone calls and emails 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages 
  • Assist with filing, scanning, document organization, and data entry 
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed 
  • Assist with coordination of team meetings, trainings, or small office events 
  • Ensure common areas (lobby, kitchen, conference rooms) are clean, organized and stocked 
  • Support onboarding tasks such as preparing paperwork or workstation setup 
  • Update spreadsheets, shared drives, and internal databases with accurate information 
  • Assist with vendor communication, service requests, and office maintenance needs 
  • Help maintain internal checklists, procedures, and office documentation 
  • Provide general administrative assistance to team members and departments 
  • Draft basic correspondence, notes, or internal communications 
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, in compliance with applicable laws and consistent with the essential functions of the role

Requirements

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks 
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) 
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, customer-service-focused attitude 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed 
  • Ability to sit, stand, or move throughout the office during scheduled hours  
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
